History and origin
Little is publicly known about the history of Manasik. We found no founding year, founder or official brand website. Fragrantica does not list a country or company for the brand either.
What we do see: the Indian company Freedom Fragrances from Mumbai sells Manasik on its website, alongside RiiFFS, Nusuk, Al Fakhr, Rihanah and Zaien. It does not say whether Freedom Fragrances owns Manasik or only sells the brand. According to a company profile, Freedom Fragrances belongs to the Attarwala Group, a perfume family that started in Mumbai in 1925 and launched the brands RiiFFS and Nusuk from Dubai in 2018. Some sales listings name India as the country of manufacture. The name Manasik is Arabic and suits the brand’s oriental style.
Parent company and related brands
Because the parent company cannot be established with certainty, we prefer to speak of related brands. Manasik is sold through the same channels as Nusuk and RiiFFS. At Arabmusk we group these brands under Freedom Fragrance, together with Al Fakhr, Fariis, Khususi and Fragrance Couture.
