Oudh (Arabic 'oudh') is an extremely rare and precious oil found in the resinous heartwood of the agarwood tree in Southeast Asia.
It is one of the most expensive perfume ingredients in the world, often referred to as "liquid gold", it is valued for its highly aromatic and complex scent, a warm sweetness mixed with woody, smoky, animal and balsamic notes. Prized for centuries, especially in the Middle East, where its smoke was used in lavish beauty rituals, oud has now conquered the world of fragrances, giving rise to a plethora of fragrances based on this compelling note.
Odor: seductive, vibrant, elegant
Comments: oud, saffron, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood.
